On the Surface

March 17, 2008

Did some surface research on the internet, turns out the Japanese are the most innovative in using vending machines in selling various kind of things. From Hello Kitty toys to tobacco to slippers and to used teenage girl’s underwear. Yes, that is schoolgirl’s panties.

The idea of selling tshirts from a vending machine is already in the market. A japanese store called Uniqlo has a massive tshirt vending machine lined up against the wall with some open sample of sizes on the hanger. Another company from the USA is selling tshirts vending machine with limited graphics to their tees. Both of their link can be found below :

The difference between them and our machine is that we provide the additional service of printing graphics so they are not limited to just the number of default graphic tees. The possibilities are endless here. They can print wherever they want, whenever they want - on tees, paper or mugs though.

Other interesting vending found are as follows :

IPod
Tobacco
Condom
Books
Pizza
Nail Art Printing

And for those who still can’t get over the used panties vending, you can find more info here.
